Debuting at the show

ULMA Vision vision inspection systems are developed to perform reliable, efficient quality control for thermoformed food packages, whether inline or as a standalone inspection unit. ULMA Vision can provide film inspection, print inspection, bar code inspection, and ensure compliance with intuitive software and documentation.

Thermoforming Solutions

Thermoforming solutions are truly flexible and great for all types of food applications. 

 

Your packaging can adapt to changing markets and trends with various package formats and sizes available on the same machine, including vacuum, MAP (modified atmosphere packaging), and skin. You also have the option of running flexible and/or semi-rigid films. 

 

Our thermoforming solutions also help you reduce downtime with simple tool-free, single-person changeovers that take 10 minutes or less. 

 

Allen Bradley controls are available on our standard and skin thermoformers. They come standard on our TFS 500 through TFS 700 models. These controls may be more familiar to trained technicians and ensure more readily available parts.

Flow Wrapping Solutions

Our flow wrap solutions have broad applications and plenty of built-in flexibility, giving you the ability to quickly adapt to different product sizes and package with or without a carrier tray. 

 

Flow wrappers are also dual-purpose machines, which can be designed to run several different film types like polypropylene, laminate, and polyolefin shrink. Flexible machine components also allow you to change your seal rollers, cross seal jaws, and folding boxes to create the ideal package to meet your end customer’s needs. 

 

These machines also help you reduce downtime with simple tool-free changeovers that take 5 to 10 minutes or less and can be completed by a single person.

Vertical Bagging Solutions

Our family of vertical machines has been devised with our customers’ needs in mind. Designed for continuous motion packing for a wide variety of products, these machines are highly flexible when changing the forming size to allow for different portion and bag sizes. Our VFFS equipment offers uncompromising versatility and consistent performance when vertically packaging liquids, pastes, powders, granulated foods, frozen foods (IQF), snacks, vegetables, and many other particulate products and adapts to almost any film type.

Tray Sealing and Forming Solutions

Tray sealing and forming solutions are flexible and allow you to accommodate different tray geometries on the same line and rapidly introduce new tray geometries with in-house tray forming.

These machines can be designed to produce various packaging applications on one machine, including MAP (modified atmosphere packaging), pre-cut lid, Heatseal, Stretch Seal, Darfresh® on tray, protruding, super protruding, skin, SLIMFRESH®, and ZERO®.

Downtime is reduced with simple, single-tool changeovers that take only 10 minutes. The machines also have an open design for easy assembly changes in a matter of minutes, and offer quicker sanitization with sanitary design conveyors (which is ideal if your production involves switching between certain allergens).

Allen Bradley controls are available on all of our G. Mondini tray sealers – providing familiarity to trained technicians and more readily available parts.
