PaperSeal® replaces MAP and Vacuum skin plastic trays with barrier-lined cardboard.
The process operates by fabricating a MAP tray from a pre-cut flat cardboard, which is formed and a barrier liner automatically applied in one step process. The system is based on the same benefit stream as Thermosealer® technology where the fabricating of trays is conducted directly before the tray sealing process.

NEW PaperSeal® Former
The PaperSeal Former is a compact system that optimizes production spaces, allowing for higher production of all PaperSeal tray formats, with an unmatched speed.
It is a stand-alone system that can be used in conjunction with our Trave tray sealers for high production of finished packages, ready for distribution.
Although small in size (only 6×3 metres), the PaperSeal Former guarantees high productivity. On one side, there is the loading of flat PaperSeal® boards into the magazines and the film reel for the liner, while on the opposite side the trays are formed and piled up, ready to be released.

PaperSeal® Cook
All of the benefits of the other PaperSeal® applications, but designed for ready meals and convenient home-cooked foods.
As with the other PaperSeal® options, the PaperSeal® Cook tray features a one-piece continuous sealing flange to prevent leaks and ensure robustness through the supply chain. After use, the consumer can easily separate the liner film from the paperboard, making the paperboard portion of the tray 100 percent recyclable through normal collection channels.
